Elite Cryptic Clues

Cryptic clues present as common riddle clues that are found within all difficulty levels during Treasure Trails. These clues ask players to perform a range of tasks which may include speaking to an NPC, searching a specific crate, or requiring a player to dig in a random location. For the more difficult clues, players might be required to perform some side-tasks in order to complete the clue.

Dig near the entomologist who can be found in the Kalphite Cave located east of Shantay Pass.

Talk to Kamfreena on the top floor of the Warriors’ guild.

Go through the crack west of Nardah rug merchant and speak with the genie. Required: A rope andf a lightsource along with Spirits of the Elid.

Kill a waterfiend.

Kill a green dragon. Brutal green dragons do not count.

Kill a confused barbarian or a lost barbarian within the Ancient Cavern to receive the mangled bones. Build a pure ship and burn the bones onto the pure with logs, a tinderbox, and an axe. Kill the ferocious barbarian spirit that spans next to receive the following clue.

The beasts retreat, for their Queen is gone; the song of this town still plays on. Dig near the birthplace of a blade, be careful not to melt your spade.

Dig in front of the small furnace found in the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. Required: Completion of the Swan Song quest.

Kill an aberrant spectre and pickup the clue or casket it drops. Deviant spectres found in the catacombs will not work.

You might have to turn over a few stones to progress.

Kill a rock crab and pick up the clue or casket that it drops.

You will have to fly high where a sword cannot help you.

Kill an aviansie.
