Hard Cryptic Clues

Cryptic clues present as common riddle clues that are found within all difficulty levels during Treasure Trails. These clues ask players to perform a range of tasks which may include speaking to an NPC, searching a specific crate, or requiring a player to dig in a random location. For the more difficult clues, players might be required to perform some side-tasks in order to complete the clue.

During hard cryptic clues you my receive a puzzle box in order to progress.

Dig 6 steps north and 3 steps west of the center of the fairy ring found south-west of Mort Myre. Note: You need to complete Fairytale II – Cure a Queen or have 50 agility.

Dig 9 steps west of the center of the fairy ring found south of the Wintertodt camp.

Dig 2 steps south and 2 steps west from the center of the fairy ring located in the Cosmic Entity’s Plane.

Dig near the torch found in the Ardougne Zoo located between the penguins and the scorprions.

When you get tired of fighting, go deep, deep down until you need an antidote.

Head to Yanille’s agility dungeon and fall into the area with poison spiders and search the crate next to the stairs that lead up.


You have all of the elements available to solve this clue. Fortunately you do not have to go as far as to stand in a draft.

Search the crate found west of the air elementals inside of the elemental workshop. Required: Started Elemental Workshop I and a battered key.


You will need to under-cook to solve this one.
