Treasure Tails is a mini-game which involves clue scrolls which are rare drops from most monsters. Each clue scroll contains a series of clues and riddles for the player to solve in order to find a casket filled with rewards.
Each clue scroll is associated with a difficultly level. Higher level monsters drop higher level clues which result in more valuable loot. There are five levels of scrolls which range from easy to master.
Treasure Trail Rewards
Common rewards between all difficulty levels include the following:
Unique rewards are also found within the caskets. The following links depict the potential rewards for completing each level of scroll.
Treasure Trail Anagrams
The anagrams do not correspond with the number of spaces in a name. For example, an anagram with no spaces might correspond to a name with one or more spaces.
There are four difficulties associated with anagrams. The following links have the anagrams, their solutions, the location of the NPC, and the associated challenge answer.
Challenge scrolls are logic problems posed by NPCs which require an answer from the player to advance in the Treasure Trail.
Cryptic clues are riddle clues which may be found in all level of Treasure Trails. They are fairly random clues which demand a varied number of tasks to complete.
Emote clues require the player to equip specific items and then perform an emote in a particular location. After the task has been completed, Uri will appear to give the player the next clue.
Hot/Cold clues involve a strange device obtained from Jorral which will tell you if you are hot (close to) or cold (far from) the location you must dig. The following guides are grouped by location.
Light boxes are puzzles that may appear during a master level Treasure Trail. They contain a 5 by 5 grid of lights and 8 switches beneath which control the lights on and off positions.
Puzzle boxes appear during hard, elite, and master class clues. They contain an image that appears as a scrambled puzzle. The player must configure the pieces in the correct order so the full image correctly appears and then speak to the NPC who gave them the puzzle box in order to receive the next clue or the reward.
Treasure Trail Maps
Each scroll may contain a map clue. The following links contain the Treasure Trail maps along with directions and instructions.
These scrolls send you to an NPC who will require an answer to a logic problem.Last modified: December 20, 2018
